The peculiarity of this study is that, in contrast to the "dogmatic-liturgical" approach to the sacrament of the Eucharist, an attempt was made to learn and define the theological and spiritual features of the Last Supper in its broad biblical context and, therefore, in the light of these features, to consider the history of the development of the Liturgy and its modern practice. The royal priesthood is one of the oldest and most complete expressions that conveys the meaning, vocation and dignity of the Christian life.
