Belarusian-Chinese literary ties are based primarily on the depth of individual writers in the transformation of works of Chinese literature into Belarusian and vice versa - works of Belarusian literature into Chinese. The author of the book "Roads to China", which contains articles, talks, essays written in 2011-2019, is trying to find out what has been done in the last decade in the field of artistic connection between China and Belarus.
A special place in the book is occupied by stories about the Chinese translator of works of Slavic literature - Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian - Gao Man. Ales Karliukevich met with him more than once in Beijing and corresponded with him for several years. The book also tells about meetings with doctors of science Zhang Huitingin, Xia Zhongxiang, who promote Belarusian beautiful writing in China, do everything possible to make the Belarusian word famous in China.
Ales Karliukevich talks to well-known Chinese writers and Belarusian translators of Chinese literature, trying not to miss a single fact of the literary brotherhood of Belarus and China.
The book should be interesting to all those who study Belarusian-Chinese relations, who are interested in China itself and its cultural and literary space.
