The research is devoted to the analysis and contextualization of the political and legal legacy of the politician, diplomat, lawyer Simon Rozenbaum (1859-1934). The main goal of this study is, on the one hand, to take a new look at the modules of knowledge about Rosenbaum that function in Lithuanian historiography, in order to re-determine what influence this statesman had in wider contexts, such as the statehood of modern Lithuania and its development, consolidation of international status, sovereignty and democratization, on the other hand, to refine and actualize the significance of Rosenbaum's contribution and political and legal legacy in the history of Lithuania, Lithuanian Jews and Zionism.
