The monograph is devoted to the issue of the mechanisms of influence of constitutional justice on the processes of power balancing in a democratic state. The author defined the main functions of the body of constitutional jurisdiction in the system of separation of powers, characterized the place of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in the mechanism of checks and balances according to the current version of the Constitution of Ukraine; the specific functions of constitutional control in the conditions of democratic transit countries are disclosed.
