The monograph "The Philosophical Context of Taxes" is being published for the first time in Georgia, which examines taxes not only as a legal and economic category, but also as a deep philosophical phenomenon - an event closely related to the social contract, justice, civic equality, and the legitimacy of the state. Despite the fact that there are numerous works on taxes in the Georgian academic space, the philosophical dimension of taxes has not been studied in such depth before.
