For many years, I have been working to promote as much as I can the people who stand guard over our culture and education, who introduce and love our national identity to the world. Ibrahim Safi was an artist unknown to many in Azerbaijan, but he became world famous during his lifetime. The artist, originally from Nakhchivan, moved to Istanbul in 1919 and was buried in the Zanjirli cemetery in Istanbul, which he considered his second home until the end of his life.
You can talk about this great man and artist for months, not hours. Ibrahim Bey is also called the artist who painted Atatürk for the first time in nature. I have been researching the life and work of the artist for some time. I have a lot of material. I have visited Istanbul three times. We decided to make a book and a film about Ibrahim Safi Bey. Both the book and the film are ready. Both the film and the book have the same title. "The man who speaks colors." The book is published in three languages - Azerbaijani, Turkish and English. In the film and the book, great Turkish artists, painters, people who know Ibrahim Bey and have been in touch for years have expressed their views.
