The biographic reference book includes extensive data on several thousands of Cossack officers, who generally participated in the Russian-Japanese War, World War I and the Civil War, and whose considerable part had to emigrate after the Civil War. The edition is based on the firstly introduced archival documents from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Orenburg and Chelyabinsk, as well as materials from private collections and published sources. For the first time the fates of the officer corps of the greatest Russia’s Cossack troop are recreated.
