The collection presents abstracts of the reports of the XII international scientific and practical conference "The North and the Arctic in the New Paradigm of World Development. Luzin Readings - 2024", the main objective of which is to form a scientific vision of the future of the Russian North and the Arctic based on a comprehensive discussion by the expert community of the problems and development trends of this macroregion in modern geopolitical and economic conditions. A distinctive feature of the Luzin Readings-2024 is the discussion of the problems and prospects for the development of Arctic territories in the context of new global challenges. A significant part of the conference events was held by the Luzin Institute of Economic Problems of the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with major Russian scientific and educational institutions. This made it possible to attract eminent scientists and colleagues from other regions of the country to participate in the conference, to present fresh views on solving key problems of the development of the North and the Arctic.
