The monograph is devoted to the image of China, which is reconstructed on the basis of texts of Russian-language blogs about Chinese art. Through the prism of five types of traditional art (Chinese opera, painting, artistic embroidery, calligraphy, music) and modern "hybrid" art, one of the most important facets of the media image of a country with ancient history, traditions, culture and art is revealed. Special attention is paid to the language tools used in readers' comments, which are also analyzed as texts involved in creating the media image of China.
