The series "Masterpieces of Jewish Art" is aimed at placing previously unknown pieces of Jewish artistic heritage back into the context of world culture. The sixth volume of the collection presents the unique Jewish Artistic Heritage Album by Semyon An-sky, a well-known ethnographer and public figure of the beginning of the XXth century. The work was going to be published in 1918, but failed to penetrate the Soviet censorship barriers. Eighty years later one can see the remarkable works of Jewish craftsmen and artists of the past centuries.
