The compilers of the dictionary, G.Klimov and M.Khalilov realized a pioneering attempt to make a systematized comparison of the basic and commonly used foreign vocabulary of all of Caucasian indigenous languages, including nouns, adjectives, verbs and words of other parts of speech, which reflect the common spectrum of natural, domestic, family, economic and social objects - more than 1200 dictionary entries. The entries are supplied with etymologic comments.
