The monograph defends a view that differs from the prevailing in science on understanding the genesis of labor law, primarily of a systemic and methodological order, when the differences in the legal systems of the Russian Empire, the Soviet and modern periods, as well as the conceptual (categorical) apparatus do not act as an obstacle in justifying the emergence of labor law as legal discipline until 1917 in the form of industrial (working, mining) law, and labor legislation from the 18th century.
