The eighth volume of the series” The cultural legacy оf Uzbekistan in the collections of the world ” is dedicated to the meeting of the State Hermitage Museum. The book is devoted to the rarest collection of objects found on the territory of Uzbekistan. The album will contain unique finds, such as the famous Ayrtamsky Frieze – the stone relief of the 1st c. n. e. with half-figures of musicians, located among the lush leaves of Akanf. Today, a fragment of the frieze, which once adorned a temple in northern Bactria, is kept in the State Hermitage. Also, rare works of medieval monumental and decriminal art found in Toprak-kal, Penjikent and Varakhsha will be presented here
