The Church of the Resurrection above the main entrance to the monastery was the first part of Rostov Kremlin architectural composition to be built (1670). It is crowned by five domes and decorated with the pointed arches characteristic of Metropolitan Iona's time, which form the 24 slopes of the roof. The church's interior is richly decorated by frescos.
