After the end of World War I in 1919/1920 emigrants from Russia arrived in the Kingdom of SCS. At the same time, a group of Yugoslav political emigrants was definitely formed in the Soviet Russia. Emigrants had a significant impact on the formation of mutual perception of Serbs and Russians. The organizational structures of both emigrations were liquidated several years after the end of
World War II. The centennial of two emigrations was marked by Russian and Serbian historians to consider various aspects of the existence of these groups.
