The book is devoted to little known facts from the history of the pre-war Soviet-Polish border in Belarus. Written on the basis of a significant amount of archival documents and materials telling about the functioning of the Polish Border Guard Corps protection, construction of the Minsk fortified area of the Red Army, Events in September 1939. Particular attention is paid to the heroic defense of the Red Army on the June 1941 border of the old line. The publication is richly illustrated with photo materials from the collection of the author, and Polish archives, the Netherlands, Belarus and other countries.
