The book introduces the readers to the materials of the most completely excavated pit burial ground in the forest-steppe variant of Saltov-Mayatsk culture, which was left by early-medieval Bulgarian people. The author brings to the front general peculiarities that make the above burial ground similar to analogous monuments of the steppe and forest-steppe zones of the Eastern Europe. Over and above, the author points out peculiar features of burial implements and rituals.
