In her latest monograph, the author deals in detail with a hitherto unprocessed topic - the emergence of the first post-revolutionary (post-1989) system of ethnic Hungarian parties in Slovakia and the parallel development of the political identity of ethnic Hungarian voters in Slovakia in the years 1989-1990. In her research she used various sources: historical works and chronologies, the results of contemporary and later thematically relevant sociological and public opinion research, party programmes, archival materials, politicians' statements and the contemporary Hungarian-language press in Slovakia. In addition to the above-mentioned sources, she was the first to process in the form of oral history the memoirs of the Hungarian protagonists of the November events and representatives of the Hungarian political elite of the time.
