The Battle of Kursk was the turning point in World War II. Unique archival materials, such as reports of the Red Army Joint Staff, documents captured from the enemy and others are arranged in the chronological order. The first book covers events of the 5-27th of July 1943 and the biographies of army commanders. The second volume is devoted to the events since 07.28 till 08.24, 1943. Besides, it includes reports of Marshal Zhukov to Supreme Commander-in-Chief Stalin. There are also articles from German papers of those days and extracts from German soldiers' diaries.
