The goal of this work is to introduce to a non-Armenian reader Armenian Genocide, committed in the Ottoman Empire and gone down in history as the first genocide of the XXth century. Prerequisites and causes, political and national-racial motives, mechanisms and scale of commitment of the Armenian genocide or Armenocide are elucidated as well as the issue of responsibility of young Turks and their felonious leaders, who had planned and brutally committed it. The author also dwelt on the problems of recognition of Armenian Genocide by the international community and present-day Turkey.
