The catalog is compiled on a bibliographic principle and consists of three parts. It includes works by Ivan, Nikolai and Yakov Argunovs. Each part contains several sections, main of which are: indisputable works of the artists, the works ascribed to their hands, and the works, which earlier were wrongly considered to had been painted by this or that artist. All the works are placed in a chronological order.
