The monograph describes approaches to understanding the concept of "administrative and legal status of a participant in the hostilities of the Joint Forces Operation". A comprehensive study of the prerequisites and elements of the content of the administrative and legal status of the participants in the hostilities of the armed forces was carried out. The normative-legal framework related to the legal status of the participants in armed conflict was analyzed, the classification of normative acts according to the territorial principle, which provides for state-wide and local acts of binding legal force, was proposed.
