The book is devoted to the history of the German (Teutonic) Order - from the beginning of the hospital's founding in 1190 and its formation from 1198 as a spiritual-knightly association. The book shows the armed struggle of the order against Muslims and pagans in Palestine, Hungary and Spain. Particular attention is paid to his fate in Prussia and Livonia. Along with the hostilities, the structure of the order, both territorial and internal, is presented, its hierarchy and statutes, as well as the internal and foreign policy of the unique order state created in Prussia.
