At the conference of heads of state of the anti-Hitler coalition of the Soviet Union, no one regarded the Western allies as an equal partner. All Churchill and Roosevelt wanted was for the USSR to complete its task at any cost. No one cared what losses the “executor” would suffer.
When the long-awaited victory thundered, everything happened as Alexander Dovzhenko prophesied. “German dogs” appeared who, having enlisted the support of “Anglo-American bigwigs,” began to spread false rumors. Soviet great martyrs-warriors faced injustice and suffering. More and more myths have emerged about the Second World War and the participation of the Soviet Union in it.
