The modern trends in information technologies and resources and the necessity of their strategic development in libraries are considered. The structure of IT-strategy in libraries and its basic components are analyzed: H-infrastructure, information resources and services, personnel, including employees of IT-services. Approaches to the management of the IT-strategy of the library are investigated.
