The monograph is a first endeavor in the Armenian studies to analyse and asses a philosophical heritage of Stepanos Palasanian, a 19th century Armenian thinker and educator, a representative of the Armenian enlightenment and an ideologist of the national liberation. His philosophical Weltanschauung is reviewed from the perspective of new worldview and methodological positions and on the basis of the thinker’s entire creative heritage as a philosophical-historical conceptual framework, which is characterized as reflection on the spiritual culture, political and social practices of the nation and a secular (enlightenment) version of a national ideology.
