The speeches of the military generals of the Manchu Qing Dynasty who conquered the Dzungarian Empire were selected from the 283-volume compilation of documents titled "Compilation of Manchu-written Archives of Xinjiang during the Qing Dynasty", translated from Manchu and published, and consist of 165 documents related to 1755-1756. The speeches contain information about the attempts to reorganize the Dzungarian Empire, information about the Dzungarian nobles, their location, social conditions, and their struggle against Amarsana.
