The presented documents and materials for the first time shed the light upon the activities of the Stalingrad group of armed forces in February - May 1943. Whereas for a long period of time the Battle of Stalingrad presented a focus of researchers’ attention, further life and fate of the participants of the military units were shaded from view by these great events.
