The book reflects the events of the recent history of the Republic of Belarus, the Soviet Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union. The author of the book was a direct participant in many of the processes described, therefore, he openly expresses his own point of view regarding what was happening. At the same time, he does not limit himself to the popular thesis "The world will never be the same as before", but offers specific models of socio-economic development based on a deep scientific analysis of the real state of affairs and own scientific research.
A significant part of the book is devoted to the small Motherland, the role and place of ordinary people in the real working and living conditions of Belarusians.
