The monograph was created as part of a large cultural project and exhibition of the Sixties in Croatia - Myth and Reality, placed at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb (MUO). The authors of the texts are experts who are led by prof. Zvonko Makovic, the author of the concept of the exhibition, participated in its preparation. The monograph - together with the exhibition, but also as a stand-alone, valuable publishing venture - provides an exhaustive and insightful picture of one of the key periods of recent Croatian history, engaging a little over a decade, or more precisely, from 1958 to 1971.
