These reports, with one exception, were written in 2020-2021. They talk about Severodonetsk before the full-scale invasion of Russia. The reader will learn about what this city of Luhansk Oblast, a city on the border of Donbass and Slobozhan region, was like and lived until 2022; how it transitioned from the identity of a Soviet industrial city to realizing itself as a city in independent Ukraine. Some reports tell about the people of this city, others - about locations, and others - about important events for Severodonetsk, in particular, in 2004 and 2014. The author was born and raised in Severodonetsk, so in this book she balances between report writing and a subjective, sometimes ironic, view of the city.
