Editora Trinta Zero Nove is the first independent publisher dedicated to the publication of translated works in Mozambique. It was founded in 2018 by Sandra Tamele to publish a collection of short stories translated by the winners of the Literary Translation Competition alluding to the International Translation Day, 30 September. The initiative received an honorable mention in the 2020 London Book Fair Excellence Award. Editora Trinta Zero Nove seeks to be inclusive by publishing mostly female literature written by people with disabilities or other minorities, both in print and audiobook formats. Its catalog is known for presenting works translated for the first time.
