What is the singularity of languages? Why closely related (e.g. Slavonic) languages having similar syntactic structures let the speaker use entirely different constructions and what happens with the semantic structure of the sentence. Using the results of the research upon the semantic syntax, the author explains the uniqueness of Polish language as compared to the other Slavonic languages. All the examples are translated into Russian.
