The aim of the study was to identify the semantic potential of the verb form in languages of different structural organization. The theoretical basis of the proposed analysis was the searches, in which the affected issues are indicated most fully. In accordance with this goal, comparative and descriptive methods of analysis were used as the methodological basis for the linguistic analysis of factual material. The author uses the example of Russian, Ossetian and French languages.
