The book covers the analysis of materials on lexical parallels among the Samoyedic, Tungus and Manchu languages, which reflect at least a two thousand years’ history of contacts among the respective communities in different parts of the Yenisei Siberia and bordering regions. The material is stratified by groups, which correspond to the special types of the language contacts among the Samoyedic, Tungus and Manchu people. The book also contains ethnic and genetic and historical and linguistic implications of the suggested lexical comparisons.
