The book includes materials explaining the positions of historians of our republic and Novosibirsk and their confrontation in the 1960s–1980s on controversial and poorly studied problems of the history of Yakutia in the first years of Soviet power. With the disclosure of the concepts of the opposing sides, the socio-economic system and social relations at the beginning of the 20th century, the "leftist" policy of the party and Soviet leadership in 1921–1922, the civil war of 1921–1923, the role of the "triumvirate" in unleashing the excesses, as well as the contribution of representatives of the Russian people in Yakutia receiving the status of an autonomous republic in 1922 are covered.
