The World Day for safety and health at work initiated by the International Labor Organization was celebrated on April 28, 2007. The notion of labor protection is closely connected with the category of social protection. The present report considers the four purposes, which make up the essence of a decent work conception: observing of international work norms and rights in the sphere of labor; securing of decent employment; social protection for everyone; trilateral cooperation and social dialogue.
