The publication acquaints the reader with Russian traditional wedding garment at the end of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth century and its regional peculiarities. The book is based on unique collection of national clothing from the Sergiev Posad state museum of history and art. Its collection consists of full sets of clothing with accessories. Significant part of the collection is gathered by the museum's personnel in the coarse of scientific investigations, which have been conducted in the European part of Russia since the 1950s.
