The edition presents results of the scientific conference "Belarusian Towels in Space and Time", which had been organized by the Belarusian Institute for Cultural Problems on the basis of the scientific and practical program "Belarusian Towel". The event was accompanied by specific exhibition in the National Museum of Culture and History of Belarus. The scientists from Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Belarus took part in this scientific session sharing opinions on the role and place of the unique handicraft in the Belarusian reality, and about influence of the belarusian towels on the development of folk-layer in modern culture.
