The offered publication is the re-edition of the memoirs of the prominent Russian enlightener, thinker, scientist and philosopher Faddei Bulgarin. The memoirs had been published only once in 1846-1849 and the present edition includes all the six parts of the memoirs and preserves the author's authentic style and manner of writing. The events described in the book are shown through the prism of the author's personal perception and shed light on the historical, social and political events since the end of the XVIIIth century.
