The legal regime for the restitution of buildings illegally seized by the state in the period from March 6, 1945 to December 22, 1949. A comparative legal analysis. Until this work, there was no analysis of the evolution of the entire legislative process in Romania that regulated the return of buildings seized by the state during the communist regime, as it was from 1990 to the present day, as well as the case law and doctrinal interpretations related to all the stages of this legislative process. I believed that such a study, a comparative analysis, was needed, which, after a preliminary examination of the regulations and other methods of abuse used by the state during the communist regime, would fully cover the legislative, legal and doctrinal process that took place over 35 years in the field of repossession of real estate
