Till 1920 the palace and estate of Durbes has been a place of residence of the famous nobleman's kin. Many years later it became a vacation resort, then - sanatorium and hospital. In 1991 the palace was passed to the Tukum Museum. The present collection offers essays connected with the reconstruction of the estate prepared by Latvian architects and historians.
