The book contains the materials on the 1st Congress of the People's Committees of the Transcarpathian Ukraine that was held in Mukachevo on October 26, 1944. The Congress is famous for adopting the manifest about merging of this state with the Soviet Ukraine. The book includes the complete lists of the delegates and quests of the Congress, the roll of the elected People's Council and a number of other historically valuable documents. The edition includes a number of photographs and charts making comprehension of the controversial historical event easier.
