The materials of the Conference provide the analysis of the following problems: semitology and Biblical study, translation of Biblical texts and the reception of Biblical lexicology in world languages; post-Biblical period, mystical trends, modern and contemporary Jewish philosophy; different questions and periods of the Jewish past (historiography, sources, methodology of historical research, ancient Jewish history, the Holocaust, etc.) and contemporary time (Jews in the USSR and their emigration, Israel today).
