The collection of articles continues the traditions of the literary miscellany “The Questions of the Theater” which was published in the Institute of Lingustics from 1965 till 1993. Today life is quite different, and theater is different. The study of the theatre is more and more concentrated on the past of the study of theater, theater criticism moves towards the theater periodicals. The aim of the collection is to remember the experience of the study of the theater leading figures who managed to combine theory with practice, join the past and the future.
