The author of the monograph M.A.Gutov made a number of conclusions concerning the typology and manner of the motives and plots of the Adygean Nart epics. The multitude of stages of Nart epics and particularly its Adygean version noticed by researchers affects both the types of the characters as well as the style of artistic plot structure.
