The book introduces the reader to the virtually forgotten poet of the Eastern emigration B. N. Volkov (1894-1954). The first section is a research section, where for the first time a comprehensive analysis of the poetic poetry of Boris Volkov is presented - a participant in the First World War, a Knight of St. George, an officer on special assignments in the Siberian government of Kolchak, who became famous among a narrow circle of historians for his memoirs about the "bloody baron" Ungern. The second section is a publication section. The image of Volkov the poet is fully reproduced by his book "In the Dust of Foreign Roads", which was published only once in Berlin in 1934. On the pages of the collection, Boris Volkov appears as a bearer of a unique and deeply traumatic life experience, who realized and transformed the memory of Russian and world classics in his poetic work.
