The monograph presents the results of long-term studies of the physical development of Belarusian children and adolescents of the XX-XXI centuries, reflecting the somatic status of the country's younger generation, which largely determines the state of health. The analysis of extensive material allowed the authors to assess the age and sex dynamics of the developmental indicators of the child population and their variability over time, to identify the main trends and patterns in the processes of growth and development of the younger generation. The factual data presented in the monograph, including in the form of summary tables, is the collective work of employees of the Anthropology Department from the 1970s to the 2010s.
