The first part of the book tells about the emergence of this institution in the late XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, about the flourishing of handicrafts in Totma and its disappearance in the post-revolutionary years. The second part is devoted to the revival of the school in the 1990s and its modern life in the status of the institution of additional education.
