“Petersburg: Moments of History” is a book and an album, the basis of which lies in the photographs of the famous Karl Bulla and his contemporaries. In the sketches, which accompany the pictures, the author shows Petersburg in its daily routine, which sometimes though can be festive. He does this with a chronicle accuracy and in detail. The photos, presented in the album, recorded the many-sided routine of the capital of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth century. The book also contains interesting and unknown to the mass reader facts about the “short history” of Petersburg.
